The Relative Center employs a total of 11 people, four relative supporters, two relative consultants, and five at the Dementia Center.

The task of the Relative Center is to support and guide relatives at different stages of life when there is a need for support. We actively work to prevent ill health among relatives who support their loved ones regarding mental health issues, substance abuse, somatic diseases, and chronic illnesses, as well as bereavement support.

The operation should ensure a good and quality-assured contact with relatives and their loved ones, based on the individual's needs and built on the national value framework and the municipality's relative strategy. We work to ensure that the operation is known to our citizens.

Our goal is for the operation to be conducted in an ethically correct manner, according to applicable ethical guidelines and in compliance with the current legislation within the operational area.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of relative consultant, you are responsible for developing and managing a well-run unit in collaboration with the manager and other employees, based on set strategic and operational goals. Furthermore, you will contribute to qualitative and economic results in balance.

Examples of job responsibilities:

• As a relative consultant, you will receive relatives who need advice and support in their situation. Here, we work to prevent ill health among relatives.
• You will have both individual conversations with relatives and/or relative groups.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate information and training provided to relatives and to other operations within the municipality and region.
• Collaborate with other operations in the municipality, region, other partners, and participate in regional networks.
• Work to develop the operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with an academic education that the employer deems relevant, such as a nurse, behavioral scientist, or social worker. It is an advantage if you have a therapeutic education or similar.

You have several years of work experience in a relevant field, such as work in sociology, conversational support to individuals/groups, care, and/or treatment. It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience of successful improvement work.
• Experience of working with people in crisis/difficult life situations.
• Conversational methodology such as Craft, MI.

You can express yourself well in Swedish both orally and in writing. You have good computer skills and a B driver's license.

To succeed in this assignment, your personal qualities are very important, and we will place great emphasis on them in this recruitment. You are also a person who easily adapts to changing circumstances and has the ability to quickly change perspectives and approaches.
